 For Bear Team Specialist, Mr.  Gene Wagner.  

Dear Mr. Schuyler,

Bear Compound Bows are considered ground zero for setting industry standards for quality, excellence, innovation, and top shelf support.   This is no exception with your Team Specialist, Gene Wagner.

Mr. Wagner happened to be present when I encountered a situation in the Archery Department at Bass Pro Shop on Friday, August 3, 2012.   Bass Pro Shop was hosting a “Members Only” event with drawings for equipment, and events to encourage members to “Buy Bass Pro”.   I attended the event, as I was set on purchasing your latest Archery Compound Bow.

Mr. Wagner, having been an archer himself, was pleased to provide accurate and specific knowledge on the new bow.

Further, he assisted me in outfitting my new bow with all necessary accessories to properly complete my bow package.   It was at that point in time, it came to our realization that Bass Pro Shop was unprepared to complete my bow, as they were lacking the necessary parts to customize my archery bow.

In the end, I left in disappointment.    No new bow.    I left my cell phone number with the Bass Pro Archery Department to follow up when they were better prepared.   As of today, I have not heard a word from them.

However, Gene Wagner shines.    Gene Wagner took initiative to obtain my cell phone number and call me the next day to encourage my purchase of Bear products.           

 Mr. Wagner advised me that he had dismembered his personal bow in order to provide Bass Pro Shop with the needed cam adjustment parts for my bow.   He even went out of his way to mount the part(s) on the reserved bow for me.   Sadly, his personal part(s) were not a match for my needs.    Wow.  What an effort...

All said, you should be aware that you have a very valuable resource in Gene Wagner!  It is because of Mr. Wagner’s extraordinary care for customer service that I intend to continue my quest for a “Bear Archery bow”, and shun other competitor’s bows.

            Thank you in advance for your product training, and values in steeled in your personnel.   

             This means quite a lot to the consumer!
