Hooyman™ introduces new Ten-Foot Extendible Tree Saw
  May 20, 2009

Kiel, WI: The new Hooyman Ten-Foot Extendible Tree Saw is made specifically for hunters and eliminates the need to bring a clumsy pole saw into the woods. The Hooyman 10 extends to just under ten feet allowing you to clear shooting lanes from the ground all the way up to tree stand levels. The Hooyman 10 telescopes down to just 28 inches for easy transport. This is less than half the length of traditional extension saws.

The new Hooyman 10 works just like the extremely popular original Hooyman Saw (that extends to five feet). The Hooyman 10 consists of two sections: the saw section, which can be used separately as a folding saw, and the extension section. The two nest together for packability and connect end-to-end with Hooyman’s exclusive in-line channel grove. The saw’s I-beam design assures rigidity and virtually eliminates the performance-robbing downward flex you get with traditional round pole saws or extension saws.

Hooyman’s Positive-Locking Extension System utilizes slotted compression latches that let you adjust the amount of extension and ensure the stability of the I-beam extension while you cut. The result is remarkably sturdy, securing sawing.

Another important component of the Hooyman Saw is the exclusive MegaBite™, a premium high carbon steel blade that features a special four-edge tooth design that absolutely outperforms and out-cuts virtually any saw you’ve ever used!

The Hooyman 10 weighs a mere three pounds and comes with a carry sling for easy transport in and out of the woods.
